ASHLAND, Ore. — The Southern Oregon offense continues to find its groove late in the regular season as the 5th ranked Raiders took down 21st ranked Rocky Mountain College at Raider Stadium on Saturday. NAIA record holder Austin Dodge threw for 350 yards on 21-31 passing with four touchdowns and one interception. Dodge spread the ball around hitting three different receivers for his touchdowns. Dylan Young led the pack with five receptions for 168 yards and two touchdowns. Sean Tow carried the ball 16 times for 155 yards and two touchdowns as the Raiders totaled 611 yards on offense and converted 8-12 on 3rd downs.
The defense did its part as well holding the Battlin’ Bears to two field goals on their first two drives and forcing three turnovers in the game. Rocky Mountain’s Bryce Baker there the ball 51 times completing 35 passes for 420 yards and two touchdowns. Baker’s leading receiver was Andre McCullouch with 10 receptions for 170 yards and a touchdown.
Southern Oregon (8-1 overall; 7-1 Frontier Conference) will travel to Montana Tech (1-8; 1-8) next Saturday before returning home for the regular season finale against Eastern Oregon (5-3; 6-3) on Nov. 15.
